The afternoon continued with a presentation by Mr Robert Hooper outlining the system for determining the order of the tooi ta (free fighting) bout participants. This was accompanied by an explanation of how officials should complete the required documentation.

Our thanks to Mr Hooper for a very professional and comprehensive presentation.

Grandmaster Loke also took questions from the floor to further clarify the tooi ta bout system

The afternoon continued with practical tests and examples to give all attendees an opportunity to practice their refereeing/judging skills and for red belts to further familiarise themselves with the competition scoring system.

Presiding on top table: Master Keith Blakemore, Master Chris Cook, Grandmaster Loke and Master Susan Merrell.
