Championships Rules Training
April 2004In preparation for our annual National Championships to be held on 19th June 2004, the first of two Championships Rules Training afternoons was held at National Headquarters in Grays, Essex on Sunday 25th April.
During the afternoon red belts and Duan grades attended a presentation by Mr Robert Hooper and Grandmaster Loke explaining the tooi ta bout system.
This was followed by practice sessions and those judging for the first time could learn and practice the points award system. Duan grades who had judged before at the championships gained another opportunity to further develop their judging skills.
