Belt Class with Grandmaster Loke

Grandmaster
Loke and with three proud recipients of the
Duan grading examination certificates
On Sunday 11th
September 2011, masters, instructors, senior belts and grades from blue
belt (2nd Ji) upwards joined Grandmaster Loke for his monthly senior
belt class at National Headquarters in Grays, Essex.
The class started
at 9:30am and lasted for one and a half hours, including the opportunity
to practice rapid combinations improving reaction speed, conditioning
practice with partners, sparring, forms and focus pad/bag work to improve
kicking and short range hand techniques with resistance.
Grandmatster
Loke completed the training session by reminding everyone to promote
our National Championships
which will be taking place on Saturday 12th November this year in Hawkwell
in Essex. The Championships will also include the presentation of the
most outstanding under 16 year old student for 2011 which is entitled
the Bill Edwards
Award after one of Grandmaster Loke's first and most loyal students.
Also, if students
have any friends or acquaintances who would like to try Tang Sou Dao,
Grandmaster reminded them to bring them along to class for a free lesson.

Grandmaster
Loke also congratulated Master Tina Matania (4th Duan) Instructor from
Epsom, on achieving two A stars in her recent international GCSE examination
in Mandarin Chinese. Master Matania has been studying at weekend Chinese
School for two and a half years and is continuing her Mandarin studies.
