Ji
Grading at HQ (Grays)
19 March 2006
On
Sunday 19th March 2006, after the customary hour long lesson with Grandmaster
Loke, ji grade students took their grading examinations.

Family
and friends observe the grading. Young green belt
student: tau sou kong chee, ping ma bu
(knife hand attack on horse stance)
Before
the grading began, Grandmaster allocated Instructors to sections of
the class to have a final 'run through' of their required forms.

Two
young students: tooi ta (free sparring)
There
were several 10th ji students present who were taking their first exam
with the Ren Yi Wu Kwan.

Ping
ma bu (horse stance)
Grandmaster
Loke asked the white belt students (10th ji) to hold ping ma bu (horse
stance) for a short while to demonstrate the correct position of the
stance and work on strengthening the legs.

Instructor
Tina Matania (3rd Duan) with young white belt (10th ji)
students: chee pen ee thau (basic form one)
There
were several very young 10th ji students present. As this was their
first grading, Grandmaster positioned senior students with them to assist
with completing their forms if necessary. This also gave the young students
the opportunity for further learning by being able to copy a senior
belt in close proximity to them.

10th
ji students: chee pen er thau (basic form two)

3rd
and 4th ji students ee puh tooi ta
(one step sparring) requirement
Higher
