The
grading lesson began at 4:00pm at National Headquarters after
the customary hour's lesson.
Young and older students graded together.
|
|
|
Duan grades assisted beginners with their forms.
|
|
|

Yellow
belt 8th ji students performed well with their breaking techniques
(huey koong).
|
|
|
|
8th
and 7th ji students were asked to perform
the intermediate positions in their forms.
|
|

Senior
Masters assisting
Grandmaster Loke were
Master Keith Blakemore,
Master Chris Cook and
Master Angie Thomas.

Students
were asked to perform their kicking techniques, one at a time.
7th ji students (orange tags) showed Grandmaster their roundhouse
kick
(chuan ti).

form 2 and then pinan form 3. |

Duan
grades Robert Little and William Parsons showed correct technique
for the 5th ji students to follow.

4th
ji green belt students were asked to perform jump front kick (thiau
chean chuai ti) one at a time. Master Steve Ronketti (pictured
above) directed the students. |

senior belts (Duan grades and 1st ji students) provided sparring
practice for those grading, for free sparring (tooi-ta) and also
one-step sparring (ee puh tooi-ta). |
