Note from Grandmaster M K Loke

Dear Instructors and Students,

I write to thank you all for your contribution, service and participation in our 9th National Championships. It was a very successful and memorable day, and most importantly, no serious injury occurred.

The virtues of "Ren" and "Yi" were displayed well by everyone. Referees, judges and officials showed fairness and care. Participants competed in good spirit and in a very friendly atmosphere. We stood very proud as a "martial art family" in its true meaning on this day! I want to give particular attention this year to the many years of dedicated contribution and service by Mr. Steven Merrell - our championship day Co-ordinator and website Editor - who ensured that all events ran smoothly, and Miss Tina Matania ,1st Duan senior, who spent much time to assist in the administration during the vital two weeks before the day.

There is always room to improve our Championships with more practice during our Referees/Judges training courses. If you wish to submit photos/articles for our website, please send them to HQ as soon as possible.

Lastly, but not least of all, a very special thank you to all parents and friends who have sacrificed much of their time in encouraging their loved ones to attend classes throughout the year. Tang Sou !
