Comic Relief Red Nose Day ...
Dave's Big Hair Do!The theme for this year's Comic Relief Red Nose Day was the "Big Hair Do" and one of our Duan grades decided to enter into the spirit of this in a very big way.
In order to raise money for charity Dave Goodwin agreed to have his hair cut and dyed into a bright red Mohican which he would then keep for a whole week.

Dave's big hair hasn't kept him from training and he was busy collecting sponsorship during the weekend's classes (15th/16th March 2003).
So far he has raised over £300 for charity.
As Grandmaster Loke said during Saturday's class: "...very brave, some of us would lose our wives if we did this!"
The picture below shows Dave with his fellow students after Sunday's class in Great Wakering. Dave is standing to the left of Miss Angie Thomas (3rd Duan) who is our instructor for these lessons.
