The
Chinese system of chronology is the longest in history and dates from
the year 2600 BC. It is based on the cycles of the moon. It was in the
reign of Emperor Huang Ti that this chronological system was introduced.
Each
cycle is made up of 5 cycles of 12 years - making a total of 60 years
to complete each cycle of the calendar. Each of the 12 years has associated
with it a special animal. The
monkey is number 9 out of the 12 animals in Chinese astrology. If
you were born in the following years, you are the sign of the Monkey:
1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004
Sign
of the Monkey: lots of energy, very bright and alert, happy, creative,
sociable and generous.
