Master Goward (5th Duan) observing students during the

Note the importance of the angle of the blocking arm.
The arm should be at the correct angle in front and above the head
in order to deflect the attack.
 

5th and 6th Ji's practicing nei pei tang (inside to outside block)

should finish at the centre line of the body.

slow kicking cher chuai ti (side thrust kick).
Note the importance of shaping the foot to
strike with the outside edge.


The Class observes as Master Goward (5th Duan) asks two 2nd Ji
(blue belt) students to demonstrate Chee Pen Ee Thau (Basic Form
One) to the class.
