Area
Two - The Practical Test 9th, 8th & 7th Ji Grade (Beginners Level) Basic:
An ambidextrous
usage of all techniques is required for ALL Grades.
Stances:
Natural
Ready Stance,
Horse Riding Stance,
Forward Stance,
Back Stance.
Hand Techniques:
Forearm
low section arm block
Forearm high section arm block
Forearm inside to outside arm block
Forearm outside to inside arm block
Closed fist middle section punch (lunge and reverse)
Closed fist high section punch (lunge and reverse)
Closed fist side punch
Knife hand low section block
Knife hand middle section block
Knife hand high section block
Knife hand blocks in single and double whip
Knife hand inside to outside strike
Knife hand outside to inside strike
Leg Techniques:
Front
stretch kick
Front snap kick
Side snap kick
Forms:
10th-9th
Ji........Basic form 1
9th-8th Ji..........Basic forms 2 & 3
8th-7th Ji..........Basic forms 3 & 4
Those candidates
taking 9th-8th Gup and above may be asked to repeat forms required for
a lower grade.

Testing:
In all
Grades, a breakable board is used, the size of which will be adjusted
according to candidate's age.

General
Knowledge:
The candidate is required to know;
-Members' rules of etiquette & discipline.
-The answer to questions such as
-Who is the Founder of the Ren Yi Kwan?
-What is the name of the art studied?
-What is the Name of the martial academy you belong to?" etc. -The
Chinese names for training hall, uniform, instructor, senior student,
junior student etc.
-How to make a correct shout, how to retain eye focus and how to correctly
complete techniques.
