The senior belt class presents a good opportunity for all the different clubs to train together and to practice more closely in line with our Duan Syllabus. It also gives Grandmaster Loke more time to address your individual development (and weaknesses). Especially for those who are teaching regular classes or wish to be an instructor, regular attendance will bring you more up-to-date with technical development and strengthen your own personal discipline. In particular Grandmaster Loke will address the practical usage and delivery of blocking/counter-attack techniques, combinations, principles of power generation, speed and 'sun pee' evasion. 2009 will also see the introduction of an advanced 'thau' form to highlight the finer points of our kicking techniques. Region 2 senior belt classes are open to all students 6th ji (orange belt) and above. These two hour sessions allow us to look at all aspects of the syllabus in more detail and gives you the chance to practice with students from other areas. Regular atendance will bring you more up to date with technical development and strengthen your own personal discipline. Whether you need to polish up your techniques before a grading, or lean your new form after a grading, these classes are ideal. 2009 will also see the introduction of an advanced 'thau' (form) to highlight the finer points of our kicking techniques. We will also learn practical self-defence, evasion, short hip techniques, concurrent block and counter, bag work, stamina training and breaking.
